Every year, teams of students creat these beautiful, tactile vehicles to dfisplay their social and emotional learning, linking each part of the car to a social learning objective. Thanks to the dedicated and talented staff at this school who say that every child has the right to learn the skills for a happier life!

I was priveleged to visit this Get Happier School in Newcastle, and spend some time with the talented staff who have embedded the program within the curriculum and school. I would encourage any interested school to visit and see what is possible!

This January saw the commencement of the Get Happier curriculum at this innovative school. With 14 language groups, refugees from different parts of the world and a whole school refurbishment underway, this school found time to set up the new PDHPE curriculum as they prepared for the year. Congratulations to the dedicated team at Jesmond!
